Philosophy symbol_Pixiu
Have you been Macao casino before? Have seen this animal stand at outside of casino? This is a lucky symbol for chinese. This animal is called Pixiu which only existed in chinese myth. Asian people all know Pixiu is the ninth son of dragon, and it has a big mouse but no fundament which means money come in its stomach but no way can come out. It only eats money and baddies’ heart. So, it is very popular in china, lot of people put this as home decoration because people believe it can bring more money them and protect their safety. In addition, I have seen this in ANZ bank around china town, I think lot of people have no idea why ANZ bank put the strange photography at entry gate. In fact, this is very common in china , almost every bank have a pair of Pixiu which stand at entry gate.
Pixiu symbolizes fortune in chinese culture.

Philosophy symbol_Phoenix
Phoenix is a kind of bird which I never say, I suppose it is imaginary. But, phoenix was used regular to represent empress. In ancient times, only empress can wear the cloth with phoenix pattern. Same things as phoenix, only emperor can wear dragon, but the first picture shows a women who wear a dragon because she seized power from her husband which is long story in chinese history.

In traditional chinese culture, we like red color because that means lucky.
In traditional chinese weeding, the groom and bride must wear color cloth and use red sheet.
As the above image shows a chinese marriage certificate that is also use red color.
Some funny thing is, some gambler believe wear red underwear will bring them lucky.

Environment Symbols
I have designed 10 symbols for the recycling. And then I choose the best three from
ten. All the symbols used leaf as a main element, but to catch our distribution( plastic bag) I have used a shape of plastic bag as an other element of my design.
#1 The cycle is like a protection , and the leaf means people, animal, earth.
＃2 Three leaves we used 3 contitune colors, that mean our earth is going to change.
#3 A plastic bag carry a leaf which means we should use green bag that can save our environment.

Pixel portraits
10 pixel images for 5 teachers in billyblue.
The second and fifth picture in the second roll above are sourced from the photos which I shot by myself, and I found the rest online.
It you take a deep look at each of these peoples’ face. What you can easily find out is those people’s faces are constructed by many different tones. Around 4 colors for each one.
Add all these tones up. I have used approximately 20 colors in my work.
